21 Day Sugar Detox Challenge
What is Sugar Doing to You?
Sugar is a main ingredient in more foods than you might think, and it’s probably making you feel sick. If you’ve been feeling fatigued, bloated, dehydrated, or have been experiencing skin irritations, flare-ups, or breakouts, sugar overload could be to blame!
As a society, it’s clear that we’ve been eating too much sugar, so chances are you are, too. The average American eats about 77 grams of sugar per day, yet the maximum recommended intake is just 36 grams for men and 25 grams for women. To give you a bit more perspective, half a can of Cola has 20 grams of sugar in it!
Whether you’re just learning about the harmful effects of excess sugar or you’ve already tried quitting sugar in the past, this challenge group is designed to help you kick the habit to change your life for good.
Over a 14 day period, a small group of participants will be working together to support one another and hold each other accountable so that together we can all feel better, look better and live healthier lives.
Meet Mishra Keller, The Facilitator of 21 Day Sugar Detox Challenge
Hey! Mishra Keller here! I am the Founder and Director of Nutrisults. 16 years ago I became very disillusioned by the corporate world. I dreamed of creating my own company filled with things that I was passionate about. Today, Nutrisults is a boutique, holistic wellness company where I help 40+ moms get rid of chronic pain, practice better self-care & regain their pre-kid, active lives. I utilize a unique and fun approach to food and lifestyle choices, while providing accountability, support and guidance to help clients create a personalized self-care practice that involves:
* hydrating connective tissue, stabilizing joints and correcting faulty movement patterns
* practicing mindfulness and calming the nervous system
* creating a positive mindset and letting go of limiting beliefs
* practicing movement in a stable body
Nutrisults is now becoming that vision that I had so many years ago, and even more. Our community members experience increased joy, energy, vitality and creativity, improved life balance, more career satisfaction, better relationships, overall happiness. Join us in this wellness journey. Your life will never be the same.
Your Body Will Thank You!
Cutting sugar from your diet will do your body good, but getting there won’t be easy!
From a young age, we’re taught to associate sweet, sugary foods with celebrations, comfort, and love. Think birthday cakes, holiday cookies, and aced-that-test ice cream. As we transition into adulthood, those habits come with us, and we turn to them to boost energy, temporarily boost serotonin for better mood, and recreate those “sugar highs” that help get us through the day.
Your body needs sugar to fuel the brain and important bodily functions and processes, but when consumed too frequently and from sources that aren’t nutrient dense, many health issues can arise. Once you cut back on the sugar you’ve been consuming and teach it to run on the nutrients that actually feed, heal, and fuel it, your whole life is sure to change.
